NIVOMAX Self-Serve Portal – Release ID 2024-2

Disclaimer

SYNAXIOM does not distribute NIVOMAX Viewer setup files directly to end users. To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. Access to and use of the NIVOMAX Viewer is contingent upon the purchase of a Data License for a digital product from the Technical Publications Supplier. The digital product downloaded will function exclusively with the viewer provided by the respective Supplier. Users are advised that the distribution of NIVOMAX Viewer setup files may be governed by applicable export control regulations depending on their region.

Licensing

It is not necessary for end-users to purchase a separate NIVOMAX license. The Technical Publications Supplier from whom you have acquired your Data License has already procured the requisite licenses from SYNAXIOM. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

The NIVOMAX 2024-2 release introduces exciting new features while primarily focusing on delivering critical system improvements and bug fixes. This update enhances usability, streamlines workflows, and improves the overall user experience, ensuring a smoother and more efficient platform for our valued users.

  1. User Roles Sorting Enabled [NMX-S-31X-1]
    Sorting by User Name is now enabled in the User Roles interface within the Self-Serve Portal, enhancing usability and making it easier to manage and locate specific user roles.
  2. Quick Access Dashboard [NMX-S-31X-2]
    Introduced a quick access dashboard in the Self-Serve Portal, providing users with key usage metrics and useful information to streamline portal use.
  3. Batch Invitation of Registered Users via CSV [NMX-S-31X-3]
    Enabled Data License Administrators to batch invite users via CSV, simplifying and speeding up team onboarding.
  4. Self-Provisioning for Data Admin Users [NMX-S-31X-4]
    Introduced self-provisioning for Data License Administrators by other administrators within the organization, eliminating the need for ePubs Sales Agent involvement and giving organizations greater autonomy.
  5. Attachments on Invitation Emails [NMX-S-31X-5]
    Added the capability to include attachments in Data License Administrator Invitation and Registered User Invitation emails, allowing ePubs Suppliers to send important files with invitation emails.
  6. Access to all user to the Assigned License Table [NMX-S-31X-6]
    Registered users now have full visibility of their licenses, including details on activated devices, unused licenses, remaining subscription days, and product IDs. This feature enhances transparency and helps users manage their licenses more effectively.
  7. Improved Library List Sorting in Self-Serve Portal [NMX-V-31X-7]
    Updated the Downloads & Activation >> Library Downloads >> Available Libraries list in the Self-Serve Portal to display items in alphanumeric order, enhancing usability and navigation.
