NIVOMAX Builder – Release ID 2024-2

Disclaimer

SYNAXIOM does not distribute NIVOMAX Viewer setup files directly to end users. To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. Access to and use of the NIVOMAX Viewer is contingent upon the purchase of a Data License for a digital product from the Technical Publications Supplier. The digital product downloaded will function exclusively with the viewer provided by the respective Supplier. Users are advised that the distribution of NIVOMAX Viewer setup files may be governed by applicable export control regulations depending on their region.

Licensing

It is not necessary for end-users to purchase a separate NIVOMAX license. The Technical Publications Supplier from whom you have acquired your Data License has already procured the requisite licenses from SYNAXIOM. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

This update primarily delivers system improvements and bug fixes to enhance the usability and overall experience for our users.

  1. Enhanced Validation for ATA100 Manual manual_index.xml CHG Attributes [NMX-B-320-1]
    • CHG attributes now only accept values N, R, or U.
    • Invalid entries will trigger a validation error to ensure compliance:
    • Error: Invalid [MANUAL].XML in Manual/Publication. Please check schema: CH300/ITEM/CH300MM_ITEM_INDEX.xml. Invalid value for attribute ‘CHG’. Allowed values are N, R, U.

  2. New Parameter RAW_CHUNK for iPad Package Manifest [NMX-B-320-2]
    • Added to manifest.json in complete packages.
    • Provides a list of chunk zip files specifically designed for iPad solutions.
  3. New Parameter DELETED_FILES for Cleanup in Manifest [NMX-B-320-3]
    • Included in manifest.json for complete and update packages.
    • Tracks files that are deleted or no longer in use, including TR and SD files.
    • Enables efficient data cleanup and reduces storage clutter.
  4. Enhanced iPad Packaging with RAW_PKG_SIZE Parameter [NMX-B-320-4]
      • Introduced for iPad-related complete packages, update packages, TR/SD packages, and SSP updates via API.
  5. CGM Converter v2.0.0 Update [NMX-B-320-5]
    • Rendering Enhancements: Improved color accuracy and line/shape rendering for SVG outputs.
    • New shapes supported: Solid, Dash, Dot, Dash Dot, Dash Dot Dot, Single Arrow, Stitch Line, Center Line.
    • Structural Optimization: Removed parent <g> element to align with front-end compatibility.
    • Compatibility Improvements: Enhanced integration with viewer applications (e.g., Hotspot, Screentips).
  6. Relative Link Generation for ATA-100 (LK2-52) [NMX-B-320-6]
    • JSON file generation now includes relative links for ATA-100 manuals.
    • Simplifies navigation and improves link accessibility.
  7. Resolved TR Configuration Display Issue [NMX-B-320-7]
    Fixed the problem where TR configurations were not being cleared during library updates, causing outdated TRs to appear. The fix ensures proper handling of TR data during updates, addressing both standalone and network applications.
  8. Performance and Stability Enhancement to Activity Log Interface [NMX-B-320-8]
    Performance and stability enhancement to the Activity Log interface, introducing backend pagination to improve the management of larger activity record databases, resulting in better stability and performance.
  9. Implemented Manual Folder Name Validation [NMX-B-320-9]
    To resolve folder name case sensitivity issues between Linux and Windows file systems, we have implemented a validation to ensure all manual folder names are in uppercase, preventing discrepancies between environments.
  10. Recursive Delete Process Implementation [NMX-B-320-10]
    The recursive delete process has been implemented. This enhancement ensures the complete deletion of publications and associated TR records, even in the event of network disruptions.
  11. Resolved Access Control Button Display Issue [NMX-F-321-1]
    Addressed an issue where the Create button in the Users section of the Access Control was not displayed unless the browser window size exceeded a specific threshold.
  12. New Date Range Filter for Activity Log [NMX-F-321-2]
    Introduced a new interface option allowing users to select a date range to fetch data, providing greater flexibility when accessing and reviewing the Activity Log.
  13. PB File Name Dropdown Sorting Enhanced [NMX-F-321-3]
    Updated the PB File Name dropdown list in the TR Manager and SD Manager interfaces to display in alpha-numerical order for improved usability and consistency.

  1. CGM to SVG Conversion
    • Resolved CGM WebProfile 2.1 file conversion issues.
  2. IPDP Enhancement
    • Read and added “replacementCond” to the IPDP.
  3. Unhandled Exception Management
    • Controlled unhandled exceptions in the crawl method.
  4. Crawler Cancellation Fix
    • Resolved a bug in the cancel crawler functionality.
