Understanding Your NIVOMAX Distribution

Disclaimer

SYNAXIOM does not distribute NIVOMAX Viewer setup files directly to end users. To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. Access to and use of the NIVOMAX Viewer is contingent upon the purchase of a Data License for a digital product from the Technical Publications Supplier. The digital product downloaded will function exclusively with the viewer provided by the respective Supplier. Users are advised that the distribution of NIVOMAX Viewer setup files may be governed by applicable export control regulations depending on their region.

Licensing

It is not necessary for end-users to purchase a separate NIVOMAX license. The Technical Publications Supplier from whom you have acquired your Data License has already procured the requisite licenses from SYNAXIOM. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

What is a NIVOMAX Distribution?

A NIVOMAX Distribution is a customized copy of our software tailored for a specific customer, known as the ePub Supplier. The ePub Supplier is the organization that you get your Data Licenses from and is responsible for distributing copies of the software to end users. Synaxiom does not deliver or distribute any copies of the NIVOMAX software directly to end users.

Distribution ID

Each distribution is identified by a unique Distribution ID, an alphanumeric code that allows us to identify the ePub Supplier you are working with and the specific software configuration they are using. NIVOMAX is a modular platform with a set of apps, components, and extension modules that can be mixed and matched to meet our customer’s needs. Therefore, each distribution will have a unique combination of tools and features. Knowing your Distribution ID will help you understand why a feature may work differently in your copy or even be missing altogether.

How to Find Your Distribution ID

To find your Distribution ID, follow these steps:

  1. Open the NIVOMAX application.
  2. Click on the NIVOMAX Menu located at the top right corner of the application window.

    The appearance of this icon may vary, featuring the ePub Supplier’s branding in certain distributions. For details on the customized icon applicable to your distribution, please consult the ePub Supplier Information Sheet.

  3. Select the “About” option.
  4. In the About dialog box, locate the “Distribution ID”.

  1. Access to the Help Center: Using your Distribution ID, you can get a free account at the NIVOMAX Help Center. This account will give you access to a wide range of resources free of charge, helping you make the most of the NIVOMAX platform.

    The Help Center is a resource provided by SYNAXIOM and is not endorsed or affiliation with any ePub Supplier. Sharing your contact information with Synaxiom to access the NIVOMAX Help Center is a transaction independent of your ePub Supplier.

  2. Additional Support Services: Your Distribution ID qualifies your organization to purchase training and other additional support services from SYNAXIOM. These services can help you manage and use our tools more effectively.
