Disclaimer

SYNAXIOM does not distribute NIVOMAX Viewer setup files directly to end users. To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. Access to and use of the NIVOMAX Viewer is contingent upon the purchase of a Data License for a digital product from the Technical Publications Supplier. The digital product downloaded will function exclusively with the viewer provided by the respective Supplier. Users are advised that the distribution of NIVOMAX Viewer setup files may be governed by applicable export control regulations depending on their region.

Licensing

It is not necessary for end-users to purchase a separate NIVOMAX license. The Technical Publications Supplier from whom you have acquired your Data License has already procured the requisite licenses from SYNAXIOM. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

The Importance of Reading and Understanding Documentation During Software Releases

Last Updated on July 16, 2024 | 3 min read

When facing a software release, thorough communication and understanding between the software provider and the customer are essential for a smooth and successful implementation. At SYNAXIOM, we prioritize providing complete documentation during each release of our NIVOMAX platform to ensure our customers are well-informed and prepared. Understanding and engaging with this documentation can lead to a more efficient and successful deployment process.

Key Reasons to Read the Provided Documentation

  1. Understanding the Release Scope and Changes: Each release comes with detailed notes outlining the scope, new features, bug fixes, and other changes. By reading this documentation, customers can understand the enhancements and adjustments being made, which helps in planning and adjusting their workflows accordingly.
  2. Preparing for Testing and Implementation: Our documentation includes critical information on testing procedures and implementation steps. This preparation is vital for conducting effective User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensuring a smooth transition to the updated version of the software.
  3. Avoiding Miscommunication and Misunderstandings: Thoroughly reviewing the provided materials helps in minimizing miscommunication and misunderstandings. Properly understanding the details ensures correct assumptions and prevents potential issues.
  4. Saving Time and Resources: Utilizing the documentation efficiently helps in optimizing resource usage and reducing unnecessary expenses. Addressing potential questions or concerns upfront can prevent time-consuming and costly issues later on.
  5. Facilitating Effective Support and Collaboration: Being well-informed facilitates more effective support and collaboration. Our support team can provide more targeted assistance, and customers can actively participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution processes.

Encouraging Proactive Engagement

To ensure a seamless release process, we strongly encourage proactive engagement with the provided documentation:

  • Review All Materials Thoroughly: Take the time to read all the provided documentation carefully. Ensure that key stakeholders and team members involved in the implementation and testing are also familiar with the content.
  • Ask Questions Upfront: If any part of the documentation is unclear or if there are specific concerns, reach out to us immediately. Asking questions early helps in addressing potential issues before they escalate.
  • Participate in Pre-Release Discussions: Engage in pre-release discussions and briefings to ensure all aspects of the release are understood. This also provides an opportunity to clarify any doubts directly with our team.

By making a concerted effort to read and understand the documentation provided during each release, customers can significantly enhance the efficiency and success of their software deployment. It not only helps in preventing unnecessary complications but also fosters a more productive and collaborative relationship between SYNAXIOM and its customers.

Let’s work together to ensure every release of the NIVOMAX platform is as seamless and beneficial as possible. Your proactive engagement is key to achieving this goal.
