To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

Reactivating a Library

Prerequisites

  • A deactivated data library on your installation, identified with the library appearing in the list with a strike-through and an invalid license icon under its status.
  • A valid license for the library with status “Not Installed”.

Steps to Reactivate a Library

  1. Click the    Library Data Downloads icon in the NIVOMAX Viewer Main Toolbar to launch the Download Manager.
  2. Click the Download (Play) icon next to the library name to reactivate the library. This will change the license status from “Not Installed” to the Device ID of the installation reactivating the license.

A notification will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen indicating whether the reactivation was successful or unsuccessful.

Common Issues and Solutions

  1. Cannot see the license in the Download List:
    • Check License Status within the Self-Serve Portal to ensure the user has an active license for the library with status “Not Installed”. If not, contact a Data License Administrator to assign a Data License first.
    • Alternatively, follow the steps in “Moving Data License from One NIVOMAX Installation to Another” to move an already in-use license to this device.
  2. Server Communication Error:
    • At times, supporting servers may not respond as expected or be offline, causing an error during reactivation. In such a case, please wait and try again later.

Conclusion

During the moving or reactivation process, users with assigned licenses will have complimentary access to the library in the NIVOMAX Web Viewer. This access can be used for time-sensitive tasks requiring immediate access on another device.
