Notices serve as a bulletin board, providing targeted communications from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to end-users within specific libraries. This feature allows OEMs to relay important updates, guidelines, or other pertinent information directly through the NIVOMAX Viewer interface.
Accessing Notices
Notices can be accessed from two primary areas within the NIVOMAX Viewer.
Manuals / Publications List Interface
As a content tab to the right of the Manuals | Publications Tab, the Notices Tab may be configured to appear by default or remain in the background, depending on the OEM’s settings during the library’s publication. This configuration may vary between libraries, offering a tailored approach to how information is presented to the user.
The Main Toolbar
Notices can also be accessed at any time through the Main Toolbar by clicking the Notices icon. Upon activation, a new Content Tab opens, displaying the Notices page relevant to the library currently being viewed.
Notices Functionality
- Dynamic Display: The display behavior of the Notices Tab can change based on the library, ensuring that information delivery is optimized for user engagement and relevance.
- Instant Access: Users can instantly toggle the display of Notices from the Table of Contents Toolbar, allowing for seamless integration into their workflow.
Purpose of Notices
The Notices feature is designed to enhance communication between OEMs and end-users, ensuring that all parties have immediate access to essential information that could impact the use, maintenance, or understanding of specific libraries. By integrating Notices directly within the user interface, NIVOMAX ensures that critical updates and guidelines are readily accessible, improving the overall user experience and compliance with operational standards.
By utilizing Notices, NIVOMAX provides a streamlined and effective method for disseminating vital information, reinforcing the platform’s role as a comprehensive tool for accessing and managing technical publications.
