The Notes tool in the NIVOMAX Viewer allows users to add text annotations, similar to comments in document markup systems. This feature is particularly useful for reviewing and annotating PDF documents and HTML content where text strings are not rasterized.
Enabling and Using the Notes Tool
Activate the Tool: Click the Notes icon located on the Tab Toolbar. This action enables the Notes tool and displays the List of Notes in the Right Feature Panel.
If this icon is absent, the feature is unavailable for the current document.
Creating a Note
- Highlight Text: Select the text where you wish to attach a note. A small icon will appear next to the highlighted text.
- Open Note Editor: Click on the icon to open a popup window where you can type your note.
- Save or Cancel: After entering your note, click SAVE to add it to the document or CANCEL to disregard the changes.
Viewing Existing Notes
- Indicator: When the
Notes icon on the toolbar is green, it signals the presence of text annotations within the document. By default, these annotations are hidden.
- Toggle Visibility: Click the Notes icon to display these annotations and access the List of Notes in the Right Feature Panel.
Interface Components
- Highlighted Notes: Once the Notes feature is active, existing notes will be highlighted on the page. Hovering over a highlighted note displays a popup with the note’s content, along with options to edit or delete the note.
