NIVOMAX Viewer: Upgrade Procedure to v3.4.2 for Desktop and Network Edition Users

Upgrade Process
- Update the NIVOMAX Viewer App:
- Download and install NIVOMAX Viewer v3.4.2 by clicking the
System Update Available icon or by going to your ePubs Supplier’s Self-Serve Portal > Download Center.
- Download and Install Latest S1000D Data Libraries:
- Obtain and update to the latest published S1000D Data Libraries from the
Download Manager or your ePubs Supplier’s Self-Serve Portal > Download Center.
Your system will be updated with the latest NIVOMAX Viewer software and its corresponding data libraries.
Users with Bandwidth Restrictions
Users with download limitations or slow internet connectivity who can download the NIVOMAX Viewer but cannot download Data Libraries directly.
Upgrade Process
- Acquire Zip Archives of Data Libraries:
- Download from your ePubs Supplier’s Self-Serve Portal > Download Center on to a separate device with access to adequate bandwidth, store on a portable storage medium, and have the archives ready for import.
- Request assistance from your IT department or ePubs Supplier to access the affected Data Library archives if you are unable to download them yourself.
- Update the NIVOMAX Viewer App:
- Download and install NIVOMAX Viewer v3.4.2 using the
System Update Available icon or by going to your ePubs Supplier’s Self-Serve Portal > Download Center.
- Manually Import Data Libraries:
- Use the Library Archive Import interface accessible via the NIVOMAX Menu in the Main Toolbar.
Your system will be updated with the latest NIVOMAX Viewer software and its corresponding data libraries.
Users operating in Air Gap Setups
