Disclaimer

SYNAXIOM does not distribute NIVOMAX Viewer setup files directly to end users. To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. Access to and use of the NIVOMAX Viewer is contingent upon the purchase of a Data License for a digital product from the Technical Publications Supplier. The digital product downloaded will function exclusively with the viewer provided by the respective Supplier. Users are advised that the distribution of NIVOMAX Viewer setup files may be governed by applicable export control regulations depending on their region.

Licensing

It is not necessary for end-users to purchase a separate NIVOMAX license. The Technical Publications Supplier from whom you have acquired your Data License has already procured the requisite licenses from SYNAXIOM. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

How do I access the NIVOMAX Self-Serve Portal?

Users can access the Self-Serve Portal by navigating to the URL in the ePubs Suppler Information Sheet attached to the platform invitation email and logging in with their Single Sign-On credentials.

I have my login credentials and when I login I don’t get an unauthorized error, but the toolbar icons and dashboard are missing what do I do?

The most common cause of this issue is that the user is correctly provisioned in the system but there is no role assigned. Request the an ePub Supplier Administrator to assist is assigning the appropriate role to the user account.

What are the different user roles in the Self-Serve Portal, and what can they do?

How do I invite a new user to the Self-Serve Portal?

  • For inviting Registered Users: Use the Invite User feature in the Profile & Team section.
  • For inviting Data License Administrators: Upload a CSV file in the Invitations & Onboarding section.

I am new to NIVOMAX, I need to get a license to access the Maintenance Manuals who can I get it from?

You must contact a Data License Administrator from your organization and make a request.

How do I see information about the Data Licenses assigned to me?

How can I see the list of Data License Administrators for my assigned companies?

Registered Users can use the Company List dropdown in the Quick Action Controls on the Team Overview page to see Data License Administrators for each assigned company.

How do I assign data licenses to users?

Use the License Assignment section allocation available licenses to users within your team.

How do I un-assign data licenses?

Use the Active Licenses section to view, and revoke assigned licenses.

I don’t plan to renew a Data License but would like to use it until expiration, what should I do?

Use the Active Licenses section to set licenses to not renew upon subscription renewal.

What should I do if I encounter an error message while using the Self-Serve Portal?

Refer to the Messages table for detailed descriptions and actions to take when specific errors occur.

How can I switch between different customer Companies I am assigned to?

Data License Administrators and ePubs Supplier Administrators can use the Switch Company feature.

What is the difference between Offline and Air Gap setups, and how do I activate libraries in these environments?

Offline setups have intermittent internet access, while Air Gap setups have no internet access. Follow the Step-by-Step Activation Process to activate and utilize data libraries in these environments.

How do I download the NIVOMAX Viewer software and data libraries from the Download Center?

Use the Software Downloads option to download the latest versions of the NIVOMAX Viewer applications. Use the Library Downloads option to access and download authorized digital libraries.

How do I view and modify my subscriptions?

If you see the MODIFY button in the Subscription Overview section you have self-serve capabilities to do so, otherwise contact your ePubs Sales Agent.

I want to batch invite users, how do I ensure that I am using the correct CSV format for inviting users?

Follow the specific CSV preparation guidelines for Data License Administrators and ePub Supplier Administrators, ensuring all required fields are correctly formatted.
