Disclaimer

SYNAXIOM does not distribute NIVOMAX Viewer setup files directly to end users. To obtain the necessary setup files, users must download a copy directly from the Technical Publications Supplier's NIVOMAX Self Serve portal, subsequent to agreeing to the terms and conditions stipulated therein. The Technical Publication Supplier, possessing a valid Distribution ID for their copy of the NIVOMAX Applications, is the sole distributor. Access to and use of the NIVOMAX Viewer is contingent upon the purchase of a Data License for a digital product from the Technical Publications Supplier. The digital product downloaded will function exclusively with the viewer provided by the respective Supplier. Users are advised that the distribution of NIVOMAX Viewer setup files may be governed by applicable export control regulations depending on their region.

Licensing

It is not necessary for end-users to purchase a separate NIVOMAX license. The Technical Publications Supplier from whom you have acquired your Data License has already procured the requisite licenses from SYNAXIOM. By extending an invitation, they include you within their authorized user pool, as permitted under their NIVOMAX license agreement. You are authorized to use the NIVOMAX software provided the Technical Publications Supplier maintains a valid NIVOMAX software license.

NIVOMAX Viewer Presentation Options

NIVOMAX Viewer offers dynamic content presentation through adjustable Viewing Panes within the Workspace Interface. These panes can be configured to optimize how content is displayed, facilitating the comparison of documents or detailed review of a single document within a library. Users can adjust the layout to suit their viewing preferences, whether they are browsing through technical manuals or detailed aircraft schematics.

Learn more about the presentation of manuals and documents within the Workspace Interface.

Key Feature

  • Single Viewing Pane: The default setting for viewing content. Useful for focused reading or analysis of a single document.
  • Dual (Split) Mode: Enables side-by-side viewing of documents, useful for comparing texts or referencing multiple sources. This mode is toggled via the Main Toolbar.

See Viewing Area Guide in the Workspace Interface description page for more information.

Content Tabs and How They Work

Content Tabs within NIVOMAX Viewer serve as versatile tools for organizing and accessing multiple documents efficiently. They are incorporated into both the Right and Left Workspace Panes.

Functionality

Multiple Tabs: Users can open up to ten Content Tabs per Pane, allowing simultaneous viewing of up to 20 documents.

Document Access: Any document from a manual or publication within the ePubs Library can be loaded into a Content Tab.

See Tab Management in the Viewing Pane for more information.

Day/Night Mode

Day/Night mode in NIVOMAX Viewer enhances visual comfort by allowing users to switch between light and dark themes based on ambient lighting conditions or personal preference.

Accessing the Feature

    1. Click the Application Control Menu Icon NIVOMAX Menu icon in the Main Toolbar located at the top right corner of the application window.

The appearance of this icon may vary, featuring the ePub Supplier’s branding in certain distributions. For details on the customized icon applicable to your distribution, please consult the ePub Supplier Information Sheet.

    2. Click the toggle switch to switch between Application Control Menu Icon Night Mode and Application Control Menu Icon Day Mode

When to Use

Day Mode: Ideal for bright environments to reduce glare and make reading easier on the eyes.

Night Mode: Best in low-light conditions to minimize eye strain with a darker color scheme that is easier on the eyes during prolonged use.

Best Practices

Consistency: Stick to one mode to maintain visual consistency during a session.

Environment Matching: Align the screen brightness and mode with your surrounding lighting to reduce eye strain.

Accessibility: Utilize Night Mode to enhance text readability through higher contrast ratios, particularly useful for users with visual impairments.
