List of Effective Temporary Revisions

A Temporary Revision (TR) is an urgent update issued by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or other authorized entities. These revisions are intended to amend or add to the content of an Aircraft Maintenance Manual or other related technical documentation. TRs are crucial for addressing immediate safety, regulatory, or operational concerns that cannot be deferred until the next scheduled update or revision cycle. By ensuring that documentation reflects the most current and relevant information, TRs play a vital role in maintaining the safe operation and maintenance of aircraft. Typically, TRs respond to new discoveries of issues or compliance requirements with aviation regulations and are meant to be permanently incorporated during subsequent revisions.
These revisions are prominently marked in NIVOMAX Viewers with a distinctive yellow background, aligning with the color scheme used for TR-related tools and views for quick and easy identification.
Key Elements of Temporary Revisions
- Affected Page or Document: Indicates specific pages or sections within the manual impacted by the Temporary Revision. A single page may be subject to multiple active TRs simultaneously. It’s important to note that not all TRs may be included in manual revisions; therefore, any TR displayed in the NIVOMAX Viewer should be considered active and relevant.
- Temporary Revision Document: This is the formal document issued by the OEM detailing the Temporary Revision.

TR functionality is exclusive to Legacy (ATA-100) Manuals.
