Resolved Issues and Improvements

Security and Stability Posture

All applications included in the 2025-QMR1 release received routine security and stability updates consistent with SYNAXIOM’s platform hardening and maintenance standards. While individual security items are not enumerated, updates were applied uniformly across the affected components.

NIVOMAX Platform

  • Editorial Label Refinements for Improved UX [NMX-A-2025-1-1]
Minor editorial updates were applied to user-facing labels across selected interfaces to improve clarity, consistency, and usability without altering workflows.

NIVOMAX Viewer

  • Client Viewer, Window Resize Issue After Settings Change – Fixed [NMX-V-362-1]
Resolved an issue where changing certain settings could cause the Viewer window to unexpectedly resize and prevent further resizing. The Viewer now correctly preserves window behavior after configuration changes.
  • PDF Rendering Engine Update – Update [NMX-V-362-2]
The PDF rendering engine has been updated to improve stability, rendering accuracy, and display consistency across supported documents. These improvements reduce display anomalies and enhance viewing reliability.
  • Application Splash Screen on Launch – New [NMX-V-362-3]
A splash screen has been introduced during Viewer application startup to provide clearer visual feedback during initialization.
  • Node.js Runtime Update – Update [NMX-V-362-4]
The 2025-QMR1 release updates the NIVOMAX Viewer server components to use Node.js v25. Deployments applying this release must run Node.js v25 to ensure compatibility and correct operation.

    • Node.js v20.x will reach End-of-Life on April 30, 2026 and will no longer receive security or maintenance updates after that date. As part of SYNAXIOM’s platform lifecycle and security posture, earlier Node.js versions are not supported once this release is applied.

User interface refinements were introduced, including pagination support, to improve navigation and usability within the Self-Serve Portal. These updates enhance the user experience without impacting existing access patterns or permissions.
  • Viewer Application & Data License Version Visibility in Assigned Licenses – New [NMX-S-330-2]
The Assigned Licenses view now displays the NIVOMAX Viewer application version alongside the device ID and library issue version, improving administrative visibility into application and data currency. Viewer version details are shown only for Desktop and Network Editions 3.6.2 or later and Mobile Edition 2.2.1 or later.

NIVOMAX Builder

  • Improved Applicability Resolution Performance and Accuracy – Update [NMX-B-332-1]
Enhancements were made to the applicability resolution process to improve processing performance and the accuracy of resulting effectiveness expressions. This results in more efficient evaluation during build operations without changing applicability logic or output intent.
  • Improved Input Field Cache Management – Update [NMX-B-332-2]
Input field cache handling has been improved to ensure that required fields are refreshed automatically when underlying values change. This reduces the need for explicit manual refresh actions that were previously required in some scenarios.
